In one of the many mails we receive on daily,we get to meet this frustrated worker whi is afraid to talk but only on conditions we hife the identity. For starters,Clinix has been in the spotlight all for the wrong reasons and once again here we go:
The  Clinix healthcare ltd!! The one that had scandals with NHIF.
The thing is, the company has experienced difficulties owing to the fact that many insurances have pulled off due to inconveniences by clinix. e.g understaffed clinics for instance unapata clinic iko tu na c.o but haina labtech or nurse, lack of drugs/ medicine... so patients wengi hawaridhiki.
Now following the low income almost going at a loss, the company fired most of its workers without notice and at different times.......but because the company doesnt want to look like its breaching the contract (so the workers wont sue), they accuse you of anything mostly theft yet when asked what has been stolen the mhindi director says " dont tell me rubbish".... Firing someone who has been to school aint a death sentence but the problem is how the company is making them suffer. You are only fired at end month and you wont be paid for that month!!
Yet they've made sure they' ve posted you away frm where you are from. If you suggest of forming a union, u r sacked. Definately the company is going down but....why will these workers just let it go down with their money??? They dont have a union yes, but they can come together n go to court. Why be silent about such injustice....of course coz of the threats..but this is a free country. If you understand........
I used to work there. The workers cant unite in fear of being accused of inciting others. The issue of unions...very few are covered...mostly c.os coz they have a Clinical Officers Union.
We hope the word gets to the COTU organization so yhat our fellow countrymen don't continue suffering and used in their iwn country.
